Our facility in Batam, Indonesia specializes in the production of lighting and detection product technologies including our Specialty Lamps for industrial and photonics applications, IPL Lamps and Trigger Coils, as well as Infra-Red Detectors (IRD), Sensor Modules and Pyro-electric Ceramic Wafers. Operating since September 1994, this site is also responsible for manufacturing of our Thermopile Sensors (TPS), Thermopile modules (TPM), CCD Sensors and Printed Circuit Board Assemblies.


We are presently seeking an FP&A Analyst that will responsible for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) role covering Batam and support Singapore. The core the role includes budgeting, forecasting, business partnering, Analytics, and process improvement. The right candidate must possess positive personality of having passion and take initiative toward works, hand-on mentality and willing take up new challenges, able to meet tight deadline under pressure, able to work independently with minimum supervision and is a good team player. Meticulous, strong problem-solving skill and strong analytical skillset.


Main responsibilities:

  • Analyze profitability and costing of multiple product lines;
  • Sales, contribution/standard margins, and expenses analysis;
  • Financial reporting and variance analysis to forecast and AOP;
  • Annual, quarterly, and Monthly financial planning, target setting, and reporting for Revenue and Operating Expenses;
  • Business partner with operations and functional leaders;
  • Revenue and orders reporting and reconciliation;
  • Ensure timely closing and preparation of financial reports (monthly/quarterly) to meet deadlines and requirements;
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policy and local accounting standards;
  • Support the reporting and analysis of financial information to Management;
  • Identify and analyze business (expenses, Revenue, costing, etc.) and monitor impact of key initiatives.
  • Optimize and maintain continuous improvement (Process improvement, etc.;
  • Provide additional support for APAC FP&A team where necessary;


Requirements:

  • Holds minimum a degree in Accounting or its equivalent, Professional accountancy qualifications preferred;
  • Have minimum 1 year of relevant experience, preferred from Manufacturing environment and multi-national company;
  • Familiar with SAP system;
  • Familiar with Indonesian and US GAAP;
  • Excellent communication skill in English (both speaking and writing);
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint;
  • Strong accounting and analytical skill, detail oriented, and strong problem solving skill, equipped with growth mindset – an ability to identify and drive process improvement.
