OSAC Officer will be responsible for assisting the Indonesian team in achieving their responsibilities in respect of managing health, safety and security within operations throughout Indonesia.


Candidate requirements

  • Prepare monthly data base for management report
  • Internal operational audit to included SMART process
  • Documenting external audits and responding as required
  • Conduct and review risk assessments
  • Undertake the internal annual 8 pillars audit supporting VP OSAC and stations
  • Maintain the SLS board
  • Support all departmental programmes e.g. “MORSE” week
  • Support operational teams in making “MORSE” reports as required
  • Ensure consistent reporting of all accidents, incidents or near misses.
  • Liaise closely with operational management to assist functional management of safety and security within the
  • Support corporate compliance with regulatory and industry requirements
  • Support managers in undertaking the protective and preventative measures necessary to achieve compliance with H and S legislation as it applies to
  • Additional duties/projects as requested by VP OSAC and/or MD/CVP

Safety, Security and Compliance

  • Take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and of others who may be affected by their actions or omissions whilst at work.
  • Co-operate with their manager / supervisor in order to allow them to perform or comply with any legal requirements imposed on the company.
  • Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided by the company in the interests of health, safety or welfare reasons.
  • Inform their manager / supervisor of any work situation, equipment or activity that represents a serious or immediate danger to health and safety.
  • Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents or dangerous occurrences to their manager / supervisor, who will then follow the procedures contained in this manual.
  • Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific workplace health and safety rules or procedures.
  • Fully understand the company health and safety policy.
  • Attend training courses as may be arranged by the Company.
  • Engage with MORSE and follow our code principle

Qualifications and Experience

  • Fully experienced and conversant with international airline handling procedures, international aviation safety and security procedures.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of aviation ground handling
  • A good working knowledge of airlines and airport authorities
  • Capable of leadership with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be self-motivated, disciplined, forward thinking and proactive and be able to manage time and changing priorities.
  • Confident communicating at all levels fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (verbal and written)
  • Flexible attitude to change
  • Ability to drive through policies and procedures and represent the Company in a professional manner at all times.
