Job Description

Associate Plant HR for Grundfos in Indonesia, Jakarta

The role of the HR Responsible in small/medium-sized country is, in very close partnership with the Country Director to design and implement local processes and policies fully aligned with Global Grundfos standards, ensure adherence to local law and regulations and to deliver transactional HR that require local presence, local language and knowledge of local law/regulations (where the transactional tasks are not supported from the Global HR set up).


The Associate Plant HR has 4 main domains of action:

  • Labor Relations
    • The Country HR Responsible will deliver support and advise to Management, Business Partners and HR Services across the organization in country labor and employment law related issues, company policies, union contact and legal guidelines.
    • The role is also responsible, together with the Country Business Lead, to maintain and deliver effective employee relations practices to keep a positive working relationship in the organization.
  • Compliance
    • The Country HR Responsible will ensure that Grundfos is updated with the relevant information according to new local legislation so that Grundfos processes, rules and policies stay compliant according to the local labor law and other regulations affecting HR deliveries.
  • HR Policies and Processes
    • The Country HR Responsible will issue and maintain local HR related policies ensuring alignment with Group rules and policies and local legislation
  • HR Transactional Deliveries
    • If not supported from the global HR set up, the Country HR Responsible will deliver HR transactional services in various aspects of payroll, onboarding/offboarding, employee & organizational data, mobility admin, compensation and benefits, recruitment, learning & development/admin and employee relations programs.


Therefore, the Associate Plant HR will:

  • Apply HR knowledge to support the development and implementation of initiatives or projects and offer expertise support to relevant stakeholders
  • Investigate, describe and recommend solutions to improve processes and systems
  • Deliver high quality analysis and recommendations
  • Manage agreements and deliverables with local vendors related to local HR deliveries in the country


Required Qualifications

  • Relevant Bachelor or Master’s degree
  • Minimum 7 years of experience from a similar position
  • Experience working in an international company with a global HR set-up
  • Experience with transactional deliveries, labor law and policy design
  • You are fluent in English
