Job Description

You Will
  • Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
  • Design and implementation of database and data structures
  • Write endpoints for API and ensure data validation
  • Optimize platform and API for maximum speed and scalability
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications
  • Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with serverside logic
  • Building reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Implementation of security and data protection
  • Liaise with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features 1
  • Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers
  • Write functional requirement documents and guides
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • You have at least 3 years of previous experience as a Back-End Engineer
  • Good analytical skill
  • Proven work experience in software development especially in Java
  • Working knowledge of NoSQL & SQL databases
  • The ability to handle tight deadlines without compromising on quality
  • Fundamental Linux knowledge and experience
