About the job

In this role, you will do:

  • Establish an internal communications strategy in conjunction with senior managers,
  • Ensure organisational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders,
  • Develop content calendars and ensure the execution to support the company's agenda,
  • Assist to write contents for a variety of internal communications mediums,
  • Ensure internal communications messages are consistent with external communication messages,
  • Gather insight and respond to feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordingly,
  • Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organisational perception and reputation,
  • Coordinate with the Global Communication Teams to local programs deployment.
About you

To be successful in this role, you would need to be:

  • Excellent communication skills,
    • Writing skills: excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as the journalistic ability to source stories from employees,
    • Speaking skills: strong speaking skills to relay message to employees, taking into account the sensitivity,
  • Interpersonal skills: effective interpersonal and relationship-building skills in order to work with different stakeholder (local and global). You also need to possess the confidence to deal with senior executives,
  • Creative skills: You need the creative ability to devise communication strategies,
  • Digital skills: Familiarity with information technology and coversant in different communications digital platform.
  • Relevant experience
    • Prior management of big projects and advising senior managers is required,
    • Experience in a communication team, especially internal communication, for a large organisation would be great,
    • Experience of developing communications material for a variety of different audiences is also desired,
    • General journalistic or marketing experience would be a great advantage.
