The Procurement Team in Maersk Asia Pacific (APA) is looking for a Logistics and Service Procurement Team Manager responsible for variable spend in Indonesia.
We are looking for a Procurement Manager responsible for Logistics and Services (LnS) Procurement covering Transportation (Trucking, Barge, Rail), CHB, Contract Logistics (seld-managed and outsourced Warehousing and Distribution, Cold Chain Storage Sites and CF) and other value-added services, including contract and supplier relationship management activities for our business in Indonesia.
The role will be positioned in Jakarta Indonesia, and report to the Area Head of Procurement Indonesia & Philippines.
Experience in supply chain management, logistics or shipping operations and procurement is a necessity when applying, and this combined with awareness of cost drivers will be highly valued in the selection process. It is necessary to possess experience in project management and it is expected that the candidate in previous roles have acted as project leader for cross-functional projects.
The individual we are looking for must have strong communication skills, interpersonal skills through which he or she will engage a broad range of colleagues and stakeholders locally, regionally, and globally across a wide range of departments. The person as an integral part of the procurement team will be responsible for driving key procurement projects forward and has the ability to deliver on our ambitious growth plans.
