Find new supply sources for new systems, cost savings, alternative sourcing, and other forms of required supplies
Solicit quotes, review bids, place orders and manage them through delivery and payment
Monitor and continuously improve suppliers delivery and quality performance
Address and resolve recurring or critical issues by utilizing corrective action tools such as SCARs (supplier corrective action) identifying non-conformance and corrective action(s)
Utilise allocated budget effectively
Negotiate with suppliers in terms of price, length of contract, delivery performance, etc
Collaborate effectively & efficiently with multiple parties both internal & external
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any major or related field preferred
1+ years experience in relevant field
Proven work experience as a buyer, Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent or similar role
Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
Understanding of supply chain procedures Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
Provide end-to-end testing scenarios.
Run and report testing results.
Work with engineering team to debug issues.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ongoing (3 positions) & non-ongoing with a possibility of extension/permanent (1 position), Full-time.
