JOB SUMMARY

Develop enticing visual artworks for marketing communications purposes for all digital objectives, including marketing campaigns, brand campaigns, area campaigns, online and offline promotional visual assets. Assistant Content Manager proactively generate new ideas to portray concepts and advertise the brand consistency throughout all art and technology combined to communicate and implement ideas with visual assets (images & videos) for website layout, social channels placement, digital platform material assets and printed marketing channels. They may use a variety of design elements to achieve artistic or decorative effects. The work demands creative flair, up-to-date design trends, and a professional approach to time, costs and deadline.


CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience


  • Min. 3 years experience in creative industries. Understand the innovative design and how to utilise creativity to communicate ideas effectively to support a business objective. An innate understanding of up-to-date design language to help best adapt all marketing campaigns Proficient in multiple standard design tools (Adobe, Corel, Sketchup, Ulead, etc.) Photography, video creation and motion graphic tools proficiency is a big plus.
  • Bachelor degree in multimedia & design background (Education background could range from Visual Communication Design, Interaction Design, or Digital Product Design)
  • Preferably with skills of icon design, infographics and illustration with influential design sensibilities related to applying a brand to digital experiences or previous corporate communications projects.
  • Expert in MAC software and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Advanced understanding of mobile photography-videography, DSLR camera, etc
  • Fluency in English communications (both verbal and written).
  • Provide artwork portfolio.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Take ownership for design/art direction, digital/social content, pitch documents and a range of integrated campaign support materials.
  • Continue to develop a library of art and design references.
  • Initiative and compromise working with cross Department such as Creative and else.
  • Mainly design, direct, and supervise the internal communication design quality standards.
  • Execute sketches, prototypes, visualisations, and mock-up designs needed for internal and external communications in the form of various design outputs based on the internal user journey.
  • Generate ideas and facilitate consultation, context accuracy, and review to implement the communication design, from overall design visual and flow.

Hotel Web Site Content Optimization

  • Conducts regular audits of Marriott.com and individual Hotel Websites to verify each hotel is optimized for high quality custom images, content, links, and accurate translations; works with hotels on corrective action where necessary.
  • Serves as the EPIC/Vignette administrator for the hotel(s).
  • Provides consultation to hotel digital marketing teams in developing hotel website modules for Spa, Golf, Food & Beverage and weddings.
  • Manages the pull-through and activation of key corporate eCommerce projects (e.g., new Marriott.com Hotel Websites, new field SEO service, and similar corporate e-services).
  • Identifies and implements efforts to drive online awareness and bookings for hotel F&B outlets.

OTAs and Meta Search Channel Optimization

  • Verifies that all hotels within their region/cluster are participating in relevant, approved echannels.
  • Regularly audits content, images, and star ratings on OTAs and Meta Search sites, and works with hotels to make appropriate corrections.
  • Partners with cluster and area marketing teams to define and execute the hotel OTA merchandising plan(s).
