Main purpose of job:
Support BE Jakarta during Indonesia’s G20 Presidency on G20 VIP visit planning.
They will facilitate coordination and compilation of VIP visits, including visits logistics, such as accommodation, transport, travel and security. The Job Holder will also support the Corporate Services team in managing the Embassy’s budget for the G20, including approving invoices, tracking visit expenditure etc. The job holder will sometimes need to accompany delegates, problem-solve and facilitate their programmes on the ground, deputising for the C4 Visits officer where required.

The Job Holder will need to work from Jakarta and may be required to travel to other meeting venues across Indonesia, including Bali.
Working hours are 7.30 am – 4 pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30 am – 1 pm on Friday.The Job Holder may have to work outside of these hours in the run up to visits. But time-off-in-lieu will be made available.
Embassy staff are currently working from home. We hope to return to the Office soon but hybrid working will remain an option, subject to business needs and line manager approval.
This is an 8-month fixed-term position.
Essential qualifications, skills and experienceExcellent organisational and logistical skills.
Experience of organising VIP visits or receiving foreign delegations.
