General Purpose:

Plans and performs technical activities to service the customer independently directly or through customer interface.

Main Responsibility Areas:

Plans and executes technical tasks according to given tasks, along with existing processes and instructions. Works with the responsibility of responding to customer problems directly or through internal customer interface. Solves technical problems.

Key Tasks:

  • Drives the customer project acceptance strategy for field acceptance part incorporating relevant references from relevant stakeholders.
  • Improves and further develops customization and documentation of technical procedures, test protocols, configuration guides, Method of Procedures (MOPs), Detailed Level Procedures (DLPs), provisioning appropriate work instructions for field tools and measurement equipment.
  • Leads by being the first technical point of contact during the execution of the telecom implementation activities, ensuring rapid solution to the reported issues.
  • Perform analysis of root causes on process output and deliverables seeking for productivity, quality and cost improvements.
  • Guides other field functions and sourcing/offer preparation contributing to installation solution, definition of scope of work, Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quote (RFQ) process; assessing technical capabilities of suppliers. Independently prepares and executes product and workmanship trainings and certifications for subcontracted or internal resources according to the Training and Certification Delivery Model.
  • Interfaces with relevant stakeholders regarding supplier performance evaluation, providing input-related to technical evaluation.
  • Hold regular meetings with teams understand upcoming resource needs for ongoing and new projects.
  • Hold regular meeting with vendor leaders communicating larger resources needs, upcoming training needs as well as address vendor deficiencies.
  • If requested, executes above-mentioned activities in other support-site/country.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Telecommunication Engineering
  • Good understanding on Telecommunication and IT knowledge
  • Excellent English and communication skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Willing to work under pressure and deadline
  • Familiar with Nokia Radio product 2G/3G/4G
