Responsibilities:
- Iterate and develop clean and reusable components according to branding
- Work closely with the product lead to gather and document requirements
- Develop detailed specifications for each component
- Review and edit designs created by junior designers within the company
- Ensure brand guidelines are followed
- Collaborate on a new design system
- Create assets for our Figma library
- Write style guides to help designers create consistent, reusable components
- Work closely with engineers to ensure that the designs are implemented correctly
- Conduct usability tests to help improve the user experience of our products
- Work with other designers and engineers to build a design system that will be used in future projects
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in UX/UI design (can be from university)
- Experience designing marketplace-type web applications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English)
- Excellent knowledge of Figma
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
- Experience working with Figma or similar design tools
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript
- Interest in learning - we're happy to teach you new things
- Driven and able to motivate yourself
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Knowledge of creating styling guides
- Knowledge of Iconography, font-optimization, color-optimization
