Summary:The work schedule for this position is:
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time four weeks of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
Provide protection for U.S. government employees, visitors, facilities, and equipment by conducting access control and visitor screening duties as a member of a local guard program. Local guards detect, deter, respond, and report potential criminal and terrorists’ acts directed against U.S. Government personnel and facilities. Incumbent is required to supervise Local Guard Force (LGF) guard members, including reviewing and responsibly approving leave, submitting a bi-weekly work schedule, recording daily time and attendance, monitor employee performance, administer discipline as necessary, and write Employee Performance Reports (EPR).
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of Embassy/Consulate, military, police, or private experience in the field of security required; of which 2 years of the experience must be as a line supervisor or working leader with responsibilities for coordinating a range of activities that involve directing, monitoring and redirecting actions of a team is required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of Guard Orders, the emergency notification process, experienced with state-of-the-art security equipment and processes, knowledge of cultural norms and customs required.
Mandatory: Completion of secondary education is required.
Evaluations:LANGUAGE: Good Working Knowledge in English and Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of and ability to operate the security control panel, emergency alarms, and the public address system. Ability to use state-of-the-art security and radio communication equipment. Ability to use Automated External Defibrillator. Ability to use fire extinguisher. Ability to use personal protective equipment (i.e. PR-24, straight batons, handcuffs, and flexi cuffs, etc.). Daily duties may involve extended periods of walking and/or standing in a wide variety of weather conditions.
