Well Test Supervisor

(Third Party Contractor)




Job Brief

The Well Test Supervisor shall ensure the following is conducted in the most efficient, cost effective and safe manner while achieving all well objectives:

  • Provide technical support for contractual work (amendment/farm-in), ensure subsurface objectives are contractually covered.
  • Well test design, planning and engineering in preparation for performing well tests on development, appraisal or exploration well(s);
  • Supervise the Rig Site Well Test Engineer during the execution of well testing operations;
  • Interface and focal point between Production Dept, Service Providers, Drilling Operations and Exploration


Education & Experience


  • Min. Diploma Mechanical/Electrical/Petroleum Engineering
  • 15+ years of relevant experience, including:
    10+ years designing and performing Drill Stem Tests (DSTs)
  • 5+ years working in Indonesia in similar capacity, preferably with exposure to DST Contract preparation and management

Skills Required

  • Experience with Well testing and clean-up activities of deep water wells
  • Organized and structured worker, able to meet multiple tight deadline
  • Willingness to be flexible in work location, prepared for travel
