Job Description:
The Shopper Marketer is responsible for developing and executing customer marketing plan in line with customer strategy and aligned to divisional strategy/priorities. The incumbent will report to the Shopper Marketing Lead for Indonesia & Philippines.
Job Responsibilities:
Deep-dive and understand Customer Strategy including customer shoppers, financial metrics, space management principles and communication channels/ecosystem.
Develop a solid understanding of category performance in customer including 3M share vs competitors.
Collaborate with Channel Sales teams to formulate Customer Plans/ JBP including NPI, Range Reviews, Demand Generation.
Use customer and shopper insights/data to drive retailer ranging, planogram, merchandising and online ranging decisions.
Manage country advertising and merchandising budget aligned with area to execute customer demand generation programs.
Develop and implement customer range reviews to win the shelf and drive area portfolio strategy.
Develop NPI launch plans and drive demand generation programs to achieve OP target.
Lead the creation, execution and measurement of Customer marketing plan including media and communications, digital, in-store displays and promotional calendar.
Build relationships with key customers including marketing and digital teams.
Ensure compliance of brand guidelines and in-store experience guidelines in executing customer programs.
Manage MDF programs including budget management in partnership with sales team.
Undertake analysis on marketing initiatives and ROI and makes recommendations for future optimization. Evaluates the financial viability of various marketing tactics including promotions and displays.
Manage Merchandising and Activations Agency responsible in manpower deployment.
Create training programs for merchandisers and brand ambassadors
Implement below-the-line merchandising and promotions, activity reports and post activity evaluation.
Manage merchandising budget through appropriate allocation, accurate projection, complete and on-time actualization.
Create monthly reports on retail measurement standards.
Required Experience/Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
Has at least 5 years of relevant work experience, with at least 1 year of experience as a Trade Marketer/Shopper Marketer in the FMCG industry
Experienced in creating promotional activities in the retail channel
Experienced in leading third-party merchandising agency in the execution and monitoring of retail performance standards and programs
Experienced in budget management of third-party agencies
Independent and a strategic thinker, who is able to make solid business decisions
Strong ability to analyze and apply data to drive strategy and sales
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members, customers, and division management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in the English language
A collaborative team player, with a positive attitude and strong work ethics
