Summary:The work schedule for this position is:
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (4 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
The incumbent of this position executes economic diplomacy by 1) promoting entrepreneurship and the digital economy in Indonesia and 2) seeking opportunities for U. S. companies to engage in Indonesia's infrastructure development goals. Both of these responsibilities will entail research, analysis, oral and written reporting, public outreach, logistics coordination and liaison, and coordination work with U.S. agencies, GOI ministries, and other local Indonesian and international institutions. Other specific issues covered will be assigned based on Economic Section needs, which could cover macroeconomics, trade, finance, investment, transportation, intellectual property rights, environment, climate change, science and technology, health and other economic topics. The incumbent is supervised by the Finance Investment and Trade Unit Reporting Officer.
EXPERIENCE:
The position requires a minimum of 5 years of professional work experience in economic; finance; marketing; business development; social science; trade; and research analyst; in international organization.
(Please note that one credited year of working experience is equal to 40 hours/week x 52 weeks or 2080 hours.)
The position requires the Bachelor’s degree in humanities, mathematics, economics, demographics, finance, political science, political economy, international business or marketing.

LANGUAGE: Fluent Reading/Speaking/Writing English is required. This may be tested
