Position Overview:
A successful Franchise Senior Finance Manager (reporting to the Franchise Finance Lead - West) is one who can create and execute a strong finance strategy within certain markets to drive growth and profitability

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Franchise operational finance leaders, Operational Finance Lead and OU CFO to support Franchise and/or local customer activities at the Franchise Unit level, to drive alignment across multiple stakeholders, and to develop the key insights needed to inform strategic priorities, including: (1) Manage franchise (bottlers) and customer relationships at the local level; (2) Support insights and brainstorm with customers/Bottlers on local business issues; Prepare & support internal stakeholders on on-going negotiations; (3) Rebate and deduction negotiations with external parties; (4) Prepare & support internal stakeholders on on-going negotiations; (5) Quantitative and qualitative local Bottler/Customer info; (6) Assess Financial implications and models on new ARTM and optimization of current value chain (use of third party, plant closure…); (7) Manage and control the Revenue Process of the Company which includes incidence revenue and rebate calculation and accrual, incidence reconciliation with KOF, NSR audit. Ensure accurate reporting of actual results, monthly forecast and yearly budget. Provide analysis on growth drivers and variances on actual results vs. forecast and plans.
  • Manage Business Models and Margins within the Franchise, including: (1) Execution of business model optimization (in Partnership with Business Models Manager) and system top line growth; (2) Assessment and segmentation by Franchise Unit (Fixed vs hybrid vs incidence); (3) Incidence Pricing negotiations at Franchise level; (4) Develop, implement Margin optimization strategy across the entire value chain; (5) Bring margins discipline to operational business decisions; (6) Track margins objectives at Franchise level; (7) Leverage the network and execute locally Global margin strategy
  • Manage Mergers & Acquisitions and Revenue growth Management: (1) Act as a contact point for M&A analysis and assessment at Franchise level; (2) Lead the financial implementation of new business models (Milk JV…); (3) A point of contact for legal/Tax/Treasury/M&A at Franchise Legal Entity level; (4) Support Financially all RGM initiatives deployment at Franchise level; (5) Determine pricing strategy and objectives; (6) Provide Financial input into new product / service development process

  • Analyze and Support Working Capital and Cash Management: (1) Support Working Capital Optimization initiatives at Legal Entity / Franchise level; (2) Cash management optimization Analyses; (3) Support Optimization actions; (4) Interact with local stakeholders (I.e: franchise general Managers)

  • Ensure strict compliance to both internal controls and statutory requirements, working closely with controls and compliance team, corporate audit, LEC and External Auditors


Education Requirements:

College graduate of any business course (Accounting, Business Administration)


Related Work Experience:


>8 years of relevant Finance experience
within financial planning or senior commercial finance roles
