AssociateJob Description & Summary
PwC SEAC’s Financial Risk Management team helps clients to understand, quantify, and forecast risk and uncertainty using a range of statistical, actuarial and advanced machine learning & AI techniques for both regulatory compliance and internal optimisation purposes for banks and insurers.About the Role
Conduct financial risk models design and development, model validation and testing, and other advanced data analytics on a wide range of client portfolios (financial services and insurance clients)
Conduct review and analysis of credit risk, ESG, capital, operational, insurance risk and actuarial models
Collaborate with key stakeholders during the implementation of projects
Assist the team to deliver projects successfully by performing assigned tasks under the guidance of senior team members
Demonstrate good communication skills, including the ability to document reports and presentations for clients
Demonstrate ability to apply judgment, initiative and lateral thought to problem-solving
About you
Final year Actuarial, Mathematical, Statistical, Computer Science, Accountancy or Quantitative related fields student from a reputable local university. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Relevant work experience (including any internship) will be an advantage
Passionate, resourceful, and a self-starter with good problem-solving abilities and strong technical and analytical skills
Knowledge of Excel and other analytics platforms (e.g. SAS, SQL, R, Python, Excel VBA) will be an advantage
Other essential skills would include data gathering, research & analysis, statistical modeling and testing
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and good communication skills, including the ability to document reports and conduct presentations for clients and key stakeholders
Strong interest in the business advisory and consulting industry
Willingness to travel is essential
