Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Dosen Program Sarjana Farmasi to join our academic team in Palembang, South Sumatra. This full‑time position is ideal for pharmacists or pharmacy graduates who are eager to contribute to higher education, advance pharmaceutical research, and engage with the local community through the university’s Tri Dharma mission (teaching, research, and community service). The successful candidate will be expected to reside in Palembang, work collaboratively with faculty, and commit to a long‑term academic career.
Responsibilities
- Design, deliver, and evaluate undergraduate pharmacy courses, including lectures, laboratory sessions, and tutorials.
- Develop curriculum materials that align with national accreditation standards (BAN‑PT) and industry best practices.
- Supervise student research projects, internships, and capstone theses, providing mentorship and academic guidance.
- Conduct original research in pharmaceutical sciences, publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals, and present at conferences.
- Participate in departmental meetings, faculty committees, and university governance to support strategic planning and quality assurance.
- Engage in community outreach programs such as health fairs, public drug safety seminars, and collaborations with local hospitals and pharmacies.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging trends in pharmacy practice, drug regulation, and pharmaceutical technology.
- Contribute to the university’s Tri Dharma activities by providing expert consultancy, participating in professional societies, and fostering industry partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards, academic integrity, and institutional policies.
Requirements
- Graduate of Pharmacy (Apoteker) or hold a Master’s degree in Pharmacy with an academic background in D3 Pharmacy and S1 Pharmacy.
- Minimum GPA: S1 ≥ 3.0, S2 ≥ 3.5, from a university accredited by BAN‑PT.
- No age limit; candidates willing to commit to a long‑term tenure are preferred.
- Willingness to relocate and permanently reside in Palembang, South Sumatra.
- Not currently employed as a civil servant (PNS) or a permanent staff member of another institution.
- Strong understanding of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education (teaching, research, community service).
- Clean legal and personal record – no past criminal issues, financial disputes, or unresolved legal matters.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and pedagogical skills; ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Proficiency in using digital learning platforms, laboratory equipment, and research software.
