- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper storage temperatures and cross‑contamination prevention.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, verifying accuracy against purchase orders.
- Engage in basic cooking tasks such as grilling, sautéing, and boiling under the guidance of senior chefs.
- Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during shift changes and busy periods.
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any malfunctions to maintenance promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3/D4) or SMK equivalent, preferably in culinary arts or a related field.
- Open to fresh graduates; prior kitchen experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong teamwork orientation and excellent verbal communication skills.
- High level of discipline, responsibility, and a neat, professional appearance.
- Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule (e.g., 1‑day on, 3‑days off) including weekends.
