Responsibilities
- Operate the POS system to process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments while adhering to company policies and fraud‑prevention guidelines.
- Provide friendly, prompt assistance to customers, answering product queries and resolving minor issues on the spot.
- Maintain a tidy checkout area, ensuring that all necessary supplies (receipts, bags, promotional materials) are stocked.
- Perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, generate sales reports, and communicate any discrepancies to the store manager.
- Assist with inventory control by scanning returned items, updating stock levels, and flagging low‑stock alerts.
- Support promotional activities, such as upselling, cross‑selling, and applying discount codes correctly.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure a seamless shopping experience, including helping with floor duties during peak periods.
- Participate in regular training sessions on new POS features, product knowledge, and customer service best practices.
- Uphold company standards for health, safety, and security, including compliance with BPJS regulations.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 18–25 years.
- Gender: Female candidates are preferred in line with the current staffing plan.
- Computer proficiency: Comfortable navigating POS software, spreadsheet tools, and basic office applications.
- English language: Basic proficiency is a plus for handling bilingual customers and reading product labels.
- Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Attention to detail: Accurate handling of cash and data entry.
- Reliability: Punctual attendance for a Monday‑Saturday schedule, 08:00‑17:00.
