Introduction

Responsibilities

  • Assist head chefs and kitchen supervisors in preparing, cooking, and plating a variety of dishes according to standardized recipes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials, perform regular stock counts, and report discrepancies to the kitchen manager.
  • Ensure all workstations are cleaned, sanitized, and organized before, during, and after service, following strict SOPs and local health regulations.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers, while performing routine maintenance checks.
  • Support the preparation of daily menus, including mise en place, portion control, and garnish assembly.
  • Collaborate with front‑of‑house staff to guarantee timely delivery of orders and address any special dietary requests.
  • Document food waste, monitor expiration dates, and contribute to cost‑control initiatives.
  • Participate in regular training sessions on food safety, kitchen efficiency, and customer service excellence.
  • Adhere to punctuality and attendance policies, working scheduled shifts from Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
  • Provide constructive feedback to improve kitchen workflows and suggest innovative menu ideas when appropriate.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Diploma (D3/D4) or a high school (SMA/SMK) qualification with a focus on culinary arts or hospitality.
  • Age limit: 27 years or younger at the time of application.
  • Open to all genders; diversity and inclusion are valued.
  • At least 0‑1 year of experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or F&B environment; fresh graduates are welcome if they demonstrate a strong willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrated seriousness about work, reliability, and a proactive attitude toward skill development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to follow instructions and work harmoniously within a team.
  • Professional appearance, courteous demeanor, and a friendly, customer‑focused mindset.
  • Integrity, honesty, and strict adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Flexibility to work full‑time, including rotating shifts, weekends, and occasional overtime as needed.
  • Basic knowledge of store management systems or point‑of‑sale (POS) software is advantageous.
