We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled individuals to join our growing team as Staff Kitchen Bakery & Pastry (Cook/Baker). This full‑time position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about baking, enjoy a fast‑paced kitchen environment, and are ready to contribute to the delightful experience our customers expect.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a wide variety of breads, rolls, viennoiseries, and pastries according to TOUS les JOURS recipes and quality standards.
  • Execute cake decoration tasks, including tiered cakes, themed designs, and specialty orders, while maintaining artistic consistency.
  • Measure, mix, and portion ingredients with precision, ensuring consistency in texture, flavor, and appearance.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, conduct daily stock checks, and communicate replenishment needs to the store manager.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and HACCP‑compliant work area, including proper sanitation of equipment, ovens, and work surfaces.
  • Assist in product development by testing new recipes, providing feedback on feasibility, and suggesting improvements.
  • Support the front‑of‑house team during peak periods by preparing ready‑to‑serve items and ensuring timely product availability.
  • Participate in scheduled training sessions, both on‑site and in other city locations, to stay up‑to‑date with brand standards and emerging baking techniques.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper handling of hot equipment and use of personal protective equipment.
  • Document daily production outputs, waste, and any deviations from standard procedures for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a diploma in Culinary Arts, Food Technology, or Patisserie is highly preferred.
  • Age: up to 30 years old.
  • Gender: open to all genders.
  • At least 1 year of professional experience as a baker or pastry cook, preferably in a high‑volume retail bakery.
  • Strong knowledge of dough fermentation, proofing, baking temperatures, and pastry lamination techniques.
  • Experience with cake decoration and artistic plating is a plus.
  • Excellent time‑management and ability to work efficiently during early‑morning shifts (05:00‑14:00, Tuesday‑Sunday).
  • Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Current COVID‑19 booster vaccination.
  • Willingness to travel for off‑site training sessions.
  • Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking and production reporting.
  • Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is an advantage.
