Introduction
SPX Express, a leading last‑mile logistics provider in Indonesia, is seeking a dynamic Kepala Hub for its Sandai hub in Ketapang, West Kalimantan. This pivotal role will oversee end‑to‑end parcel flow, ensuring that every shipment is processed, dispatched, and delivered on schedule while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will join a fast‑growing team, report directly to the Regional Operations Manager, and collaborate closely with Warehouse, Line Haul, and third‑party logistics (3PL) partners. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape operational excellence in a strategic location that serves both urban and remote customers across Kalimantan.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and guarantee timely delivery of parcels from pick‑up to final customer hand‑over.
- Coordinate daily dispatch plans with Warehouse staff, Line Haul drivers, and 3PL partners to optimize routing and load utilization.
- Implement loss‑prevention measures to minimize missing or damaged packages, including spot checks and KPI dashboards.
- Oversee all hub transactions, ensuring accurate data entry, reconciliation, and reporting in the company’s TMS (Transportation Management System).
- Supervise inbound and outbound activities, guaranteeing smooth flow of goods and adherence to safety protocols.
- Lead, coach, and develop hub staff, conducting regular performance reviews, training sessions on FIFO methods, and Excel‑based analytics.
- Analyze daily and weekly performance metrics—on‑time delivery, cost per parcel, and error rates—to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain compliance with local regulations, customs procedures, and SPX Express operational standards.
- Prepare and present operational reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and action plans.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or coordinator role within logistics, supply chain, or a related industry.
- Hands‑on experience with both Last Mile and First Mile operations.
- Strong understanding of planning, shipping, and warehousing processes, including FIFO methodology.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team‑building skills.
- Ability to work independently in Sandai, Ketapang, and willingness to relocate if necessary.
- Flexibility to work Monday‑Friday, 09:30 – 18:30, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
