Introduction
SPX Express, a leading regional logistics provider, is seeking a dynamic Hub Lead for its Menganti hub in Kabupaten Gresik, Jawa Timur. This pivotal role oversees the end‑to‑end flow of parcels, ensuring timely pickups, efficient sorting, and reliable delivery across the region. The successful candidate will act as the operational backbone of the hub, coordinating couriers, managing inbound and outbound processes, and collaborating closely with our 3PL partners to meet the high service standards expected by our customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain daily schedules for courier pick‑up operations, optimizing routes to reduce transit time and fuel costs.
- Monitor real‑time shipment progress, promptly addressing delays or exceptions to ensure on‑time delivery.
- Define and adjust delivery zones based on volume trends, traffic patterns, and customer demand.
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, coordinating with third‑party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline warehouse flow.
- Supervise the sorting process, ensuring parcels are correctly classified and dispatched to the appropriate courier fleet.
- Lead a team of warehouse staff and couriers, providing coaching on safety protocols, equipment handling, and customer service excellence.
- Generate performance reports on key metrics such as pick‑up compliance, on‑time delivery rates, and inventory accuracy.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data analytics to identify bottlenecks and drive operational efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with local regulations, company policies, and health‑safety standards, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with the regional planning department to forecast workload, plan staffing levels, and support seasonal peak periods.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related transportation role.
- Strong understanding of planning, shipping, and warehousing processes within a fast‑paced hub environment.
- Demonstrated strategic leadership and ability to motivate multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven mindset.
- Flexibility to work shift schedules, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as operational needs dictate.
- Willingness to reside in or relocate to Kabupaten Gresik, Jawa Timur.
- Effective communication in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English is an advantage.
- Proficiency with logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
