Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, assess their tire needs, and provide detailed product recommendations based on vehicle type, driving habits, and budget.
- Perform comprehensive tire inspections, including tread depth measurement, pressure checks, and visual assessments for wear or damage.
- Demonstrate expertise in mounting, dismounting, balancing, and repairing tires, ensuring each service meets manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Assist customers with the selection of appropriate tire brands and models, explaining the benefits of seasonal, performance, and all‑season options.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, perform regular stock counts, and coordinate with suppliers to replenish popular sizes promptly.
- Handle point‑of‑sale transactions, process payments, and generate invoices while adhering to company pricing policies.
- Provide post‑sale support, including warranty claims, follow‑up calls, and guidance on tire maintenance best practices.
- Collaborate with the workshop team to schedule installations, ensure timely service delivery, and resolve any technical issues that arise.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new tire technologies, and regulatory changes through continuous learning and participation in training sessions.
- Uphold a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols for both staff and customers.
Requirements
- Male candidate, minimum education: SMK/STM or higher (preferably D3/D4).
- Physically fit and mentally resilient, capable of handling manual tasks such as lifting tires and standing for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic with a high level of enthusiasm and a proactive attitude toward learning.
- Curiosity and a willingness to ask questions to deepen technical understanding.
- Hands‑on experience in mounting, dismounting, and balancing car tires.
- Valid driver’s license (SIM A) and ability to operate a company vehicle is highly preferred.
- Solid grasp of tire inspection procedures and the ability to communicate findings clearly to customers.
- Proven experience in a tire retail or service environment, with a focus on customer consultation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with a diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with basic store management systems and inventory software.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, with flexibility for occasional overtime during peak periods.
