Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and customer‑focused Cashier (Kasir Penjualan) for INFINIX at the bustling Icon Mall Gresik. This full‑time position offers a dynamic work environment where you will be the front‑line representative handling sales transactions, supporting financial administration, and ensuring a safe and pleasant shopping experience for our customers. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual with at least one year of retail cashier experience, a high level of accuracy, and a genuine enthusiasm for delivering top‑notch service.
Responsibilities
- Process all customer payments quickly and accurately using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit cards, and mobile wallets.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date knowledge of INFINIX product lines, promotions, and pricing to answer customer inquiries confidently.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation, ensuring that the cash drawer balances with sales reports.
- Record each transaction in the store’s financial ledger and file supporting documentation for audit purposes.
- Prepare and submit end‑of‑day sales reports, highlighting key metrics such as total sales, refunds, and cash variances.
- Monitor the sales floor for potential theft or security concerns, reporting any incidents promptly to management.
- Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and product placement to keep the checkout area organized.
- Provide courteous, clear communication with customers, resolving payment disputes or product questions in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve checkout efficiency and overall store performance.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 30 years or younger.
- At least 1 year of proven experience operating a cash register in a retail or mall environment.
- Strong numerical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail for accurate financial record‑keeping.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and a basic understanding of English is a plus.
- Ability to operate POS hardware and related software confidently.
- High level of integrity, honesty, and reliability when handling cash and confidential information.
- Flexibility to work a seven‑day schedule, including weekends, with shifts from 08:00 to 17:00.
