Introduction

Adira Finance, a leading multifinance institution in Indonesia, is seeking a proactive Account Officer (Collection) to join its growing team at the Purbalingga branch in Slawi, Jawa Tengah. This full‑time position offers a dynamic work environment where you will play a critical role in maintaining healthy cash flow by managing overdue accounts receivable (A/R) ranging from 61 to 120 days past due. The role reports directly to the Branch Collection Manager and collaborates closely with credit, sales, and legal teams to ensure timely recovery while preserving strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the portfolio of overdue accounts (61‑120 days) to achieve collection targets set by the branch.
  • Initiate contact with borrowers through phone calls, emails, and written notices to negotiate repayment plans.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports that highlight key performance indicators such as recovery rate, aging trends, and delinquency ratios.
  • Coordinate with the Credit Administration team to verify borrower information, assess credit risk, and update account status in the core banking system.
  • Escalate high‑risk cases to the Legal Department for further action, including the preparation of legal notices and coordination of court proceedings when necessary.
  • Conduct on‑site visits to borrowers, when required, to assess payment capability and negotiate settlement agreements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all collection activities, agreements, and communications to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the development of collection strategies by providing feedback on recurring issues and suggesting process improvements.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings, share best practices, and contribute to a collaborative, target‑driven culture.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any discipline; finance, economics, or business administration is a plus.
  • At least 1 year of experience in collections, credit monitoring, or related financial services; fresh graduates with strong analytical ability are welcome.
  • Male candidates only, as per the current posting requirements.
  • Age limit: up to 30 years old.
  • Solid understanding of multifinance business processes and a strong orientation toward meeting collection targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation abilities.
  • High level of integrity, perseverance, attention to detail, and honesty.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with collection management software.
  • Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00.
