Introduction
Balirestu Laundry is seeking a dedicated Ahli Pemeliharaan Mesin dan Peralatan Industri to join our engineering team in Kuta Utara, Badung. This role is essential for maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our industrial laundry equipment, ensuring that our operations run smoothly around the clock. The position offers a dynamic work environment with shift-based scheduling, providing opportunities for hands‑on technical growth in a fast‑paced service industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on all laundry machines, including washers, dryers, ironers, and auxiliary equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, troubleshoot complex issues, and execute timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Conduct detailed inspections of machine components such as motors, belts, pumps, and control panels, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables, and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.
- Collaborate closely with production supervisors and shift teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting service delivery.
- Record all maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), ensuring accurate logs for compliance and reporting.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, providing technical guidance during start‑up phases.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety and discipline on the shop floor.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting upgrades or process changes that enhance equipment performance and energy efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent, preferably with a focus on Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience maintaining industrial laundry or similar high‑capacity washing equipment.
- Strong knowledge of machine components, electrical wiring, hydraulic systems, and control circuitry.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in demanding environments, including lifting heavy parts and standing for extended periods.
- Demonstrated discipline, punctuality, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Willingness to work rotating shift schedules, including nights and weekends, to support 24/7 operations.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyze performance data and implement corrective measures.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Technical competencies: electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance planning, and basic PLC knowledge.
