The role operates under the guidance of the Finance & Accounting Supervisor/Manager and plays a crucial part in maintaining the integrity of Viskal’s financial data.
Responsibilities
- Assist in day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and posted.
- Prepare and post journal entries, perform basic reconciliations, and maintain up‑to‑date account balances.
- Support the compilation of core financial statements—including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow—under supervision.
- Organize and file financial documents and supporting schedules in a systematic, audit‑ready manner.
- Monitor cash flow, help track budgets, and generate interim financial reports for internal stakeholders.
- Gather and prepare documentation required for external audits, tax filings, and internal reviews.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure strict adherence to internal controls, accounting standards (IFRS/PSAK), and company policies.
- Identify and flag any discrepancies or irregularities, escalating them promptly to senior finance staff.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Perform additional administrative and accounting tasks as assigned, such as vendor invoice processing and expense claim verification.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of practical experience in accounting or finance; fresh graduates with strong academic records are also encouraged to apply.
- Fundamental understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and the ability to interpret balance sheets and profit‑and‑loss statements.
- Basic knowledge of Indonesian taxation (Brevet A/B is a plus but not mandatory).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and the ability to handle confidential financial data responsibly.
- Excellent communication skills, with basic English proficiency (written and spoken) considered an advantage.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn, openness to constructive feedback, and the ability to follow instructions diligently.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
