Introduction

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Area Field Collection Officer for the Mojokerto region. In this role, you will be the front‑line representative of our credit management team, responsible for visiting delinquent borrowers, delivering official notice letters, and negotiating repayment solutions. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 09:00–18:00, with a focus on field visits throughout the assigned territory. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable interacting with a diverse range of clients in both residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on‑site visits to debtors whose accounts are overdue by more than 20 days, delivering formal Surat Peringatan (SP) and verifying the current status of each account.
  • Perform thorough validation of debtor information, including confirmation of contact numbers, physical address, and employment details.
  • Analyze the root causes of payment delays and provide clear, concise reports to supervisors outlining findings and recommended actions.
  • Negotiate flexible repayment options that align with the debtor’s financial capacity while protecting the company’s interests.
  • Monitor agreed‑upon payment schedules, follow up diligently on promised dates, and initiate further collection actions if commitments are not met.
  • Locate and engage customers who are unreachable at their listed residence or workplace, using alternative contact methods and local networks.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all interactions, including detailed notes of discussions, promises made, and any documentation exchanged.
  • Prepare and submit daily and weekly activity reports to the collection manager, highlighting successes, challenges, and any required escalations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—such as legal, credit risk, and customer service—to ensure a coordinated approach to debt recovery.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies, local regulations, and ethical standards governing debt collection practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in field collections, credit control, or a related customer‑facing role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate calmly and persuasively.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage a daily schedule, and meet targets in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail when recording data.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for traveling across the Mojokerto area.
