Introduction
Orange Dental, a leading dental clinic network in Jakarta with 29 strategically located branches, is seeking a motivated Asisten Dokter Gigi Berlisensi (Licensed Dental Assistant) to join our growing family. The successful candidate will work in one of our high‑traffic locations such as Daan Mogot, Gunung Sahari, Rawamangun, Sawangan, Jatibening, Sukabumi, or Tasikmalaya. This position offers a dynamic environment where you will support dental professionals, engage directly with patients, and contribute to the delivery of top‑quality oral health care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms by arranging instruments, materials, and equipment according to the dentist’s specifications.
- Assist the dentist during examinations, prophylaxis, restorative procedures, and minor surgeries, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Maintain strict infection‑control protocols, including sterilization of instruments, disinfection of surfaces, and proper disposal of hazardous waste.
- Record patient histories, vital signs, and treatment notes accurately in the clinic’s electronic health system.
- Educate patients on post‑treatment care, oral hygiene practices, and preventive measures in a friendly, empathetic manner.
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient flow, and follow‑up calls to maximize clinic efficiency.
- Order and inventory dental supplies, monitor stock levels, and ensure that all materials meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with the front‑desk team to handle billing, insurance claims, and payment processing.
- Participate in regular training sessions, workshops, and continuing education to stay updated with the latest dental technologies and best practices.
- Support community outreach programs and promotional events organized by Orange Dental.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; graduation from a dental nursing or assistant program is preferred.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience working in a dental clinic or similar healthcare setting.
- Female candidates only, aged 25 years or younger.
- Demonstrated honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for patient‑centered service.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules, new technologies, and a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and infection‑control standards.
- Proficiency in using clinic management software and Microsoft Office applications.
