Introduction

We are seeking a motivated and results‑driven Field Collection Officer to join our growing team in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining strong relationships with our customers while ensuring timely repayment of installment loans. As part of a dynamic financial services organization, you will work directly in the field, engaging with borrowers, resolving payment issues, and contributing to the overall health of our loan portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of assigned customer accounts, monitoring repayment schedules and identifying overdue installments.
  • Conduct on‑site visits to borrowers’ residences or workplaces to discuss payment options and negotiate settlement plans.
  • Provide clear, empathetic explanations of loan terms, fees, and the consequences of missed payments.
  • Develop customized repayment solutions that align with the customer’s financial situation while protecting the company’s interests.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all collection activities in the company’s CRM system.
  • Prepare daily and weekly reports on collection performance, highlighting trends, challenges, and success stories for management review.
  • Collaborate with the credit, legal, and customer service teams to ensure a seamless resolution of complex cases.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to debt collection and data privacy.
  • Promote a positive brand image by representing the company professionally during all field interactions.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA) or Vocational High School (SMK) equivalent.
  • Maximum age: 28 years old.
  • Gender: Male (as per the specific operational needs of this role).
  • No prior collection experience required; fresh graduates with strong interpersonal skills are welcome.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a proven track record of influencing outcomes.
  • Highly dynamic, self‑motivated, and comfortable working independently in the field.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Ownership of a reliable motorcycle and a valid SIM C driving license.
  • Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, and adapt to occasional schedule changes.
  • Basic proficiency with mobile devices and data entry applications.
