Introduction
Kafe Jejeran is a vibrant, community‑focused coffee house located in the heart of the city, renowned for delivering Pelayanan Pelanggan Prima – premium customer service. We are expanding our team and are looking for a motivated, courteous, and visually presentable female barista who can uphold our high standards of hospitality while crafting exceptional coffee experiences.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide variety of espresso‑based drinks, brewed coffees, teas, and specialty beverages according to Kafe Jejeran’s recipes and quality guidelines.
- Operate coffee equipment safely, including espresso machines, grinders, steam wands, and pour‑over stations, performing routine cleaning and minor maintenance.
- Engage customers with a friendly, attentive attitude; take orders accurately, answer menu questions, and provide recommendations based on individual preferences.
- Handle cash transactions, process credit/debit payments, and maintain an organized point‑of‑sale system.
- Maintain a clean and inviting workspace: wipe down counters, sanitize equipment, restock supplies, and ensure the dining area meets health‑and‑safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with teammates during peak hours, supporting each other to minimize wait times and uphold service speed.
- Monitor inventory levels of beans, milk, syrups, and disposables; communicate replenishment needs to the shift supervisor.
- Participate in regular training sessions on new drink formulations, coffee brewing techniques, and customer‑service best practices.
- Uphold Kafe Jejeran’s brand image by maintaining a neat personal appearance and adhering to the dress code.
- Provide feedback to management regarding product quality, equipment performance, and customer preferences to help drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Gender: Female (per company policy)
- Age: 18–35 years
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent
- Honest, responsible, and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Own a motorcycle for reliable commute to the outlet
- Residence preferably within the vicinity of the café
- Basic barista skills or a willingness to learn coffee preparation techniques
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00–17:00, including occasional holiday shifts
