Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new potential borrowers in the Majalengka area, presenting Amartha’s loan programs and encouraging enrollment.
  • Conduct in‑depth household economic assessments, offering personalized guidance to help families understand budgeting, repayment capacity, and financial planning.
  • Perform on‑site surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s underwriting standards, risk policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for each client interaction, including photographs, income statements, and collateral evaluations.
  • Manage the collection process by following up with borrowers, negotiating payment schedules, and coordinating with the central credit team to resolve delinquency issues.
  • Collaborate with local partners, community leaders, and NGOs to expand outreach efforts and build trust within the target market.
  • Provide continuous post‑disbursement support, monitoring business performance, and offering coaching on best practices for revenue growth.
  • Participate in regular training sessions and knowledge‑sharing meetings to stay updated on product enhancements and market trends.
  • Maintain a professional and ethical presence in the field, representing Amartha’s brand values of integrity, transparency, and empowerment.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age: 18–30 years (maximum 33 years acceptable for experienced candidates).
  • Gender: Open to all genders; women are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Transportation: Own motorbike or car is required for daily field visits.
  • Integrity: Demonstrated honesty, attention to detail, and a strong ethical compass.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to convey complex financial concepts in simple terms.
  • Resilience: Physical stamina and mental toughness to work outdoors, often in remote locations, and handle challenging conversations.
  • Discipline: Punctuality and adherence to schedules, with a willingness to work Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00.
  • Experience: No prior experience required; however, any background in sales, community development, or micro‑finance is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Basic digital literacy, ability to use smartphones and tablets for data entry, and familiarity with simple analytical tools.
