Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Canvassing Sales Specialist to join our growing team in the fragrance industry. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive on face‑to‑face interaction, enjoy building lasting relationships with retailers and small‑business owners, and have a passion for helping customers discover the perfect scent. The successful candidate will work primarily in the field, representing our brand, delivering product samples, and driving sales across a variety of retail environments, from boutique stores to UMKM (micro‑, small‑, and medium‑sized enterprises).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily canvassing trips to assigned territories, visiting retail shops, UMKM outlets, and potential wholesale clients.
  • Present the company’s fragrance portfolio, explain product attributes, and provide hands‑on sampling to prospects.
  • Assess customer needs and recommend fragrance solutions that align with their market positioning and consumer preferences.
  • Build and nurture strong, trust‑based relationships with store owners, purchasing managers, and key decision‑makers to encourage repeat orders.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and promotional offers while ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies.
  • Close sales efficiently, process orders, and coordinate with the logistics team for timely delivery.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, reporting performance metrics to the Sales Manager.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging consumer preferences to identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sample distribution, and sales forecasts using the company’s CRM system.
  • Participate in regular training sessions and product knowledge workshops to stay current on new launches and industry developments.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably in the perfume, cosmetics, or related consumer‑goods sector.
  • Own a reliable motorcycle and a valid Class C driving license (SIM C) for independent field work.
  • Excellent communication and persuasive negotiation skills, with a customer‑centric mindset.
  • Strong organizational abilities and the discipline to manage a self‑directed schedule.
  • Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 08:30 – 17:30, with occasional flexibility for special promotions or events.
  • Proactive attitude, resilience under pressure, and a genuine enthusiasm for fragrance products.
