Introduction

This senior role is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of safety, functionality, and guest comfort across the property. The position is full‑time, working Monday through Saturday from 08:00 to 17:00, with the flexibility to cover shifts on weekends and public holidays as needed. Responsibilities
- Lead the Engineering Department in delivering guest service that aligns with Accor’s global standards.
- Plan, schedule, and supervise daily maintenance activities, preventive programs, and emergency repairs for all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and civil structures.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, health and safety legislation, and Accor’s internal policies.
- Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage, and other departments to minimize service disruptions and address guest requests promptly.
- Develop and manage the department’s budget, track expenditures, and negotiate with external contractors and vendors.
- Implement energy‑saving initiatives and sustainability projects that support Accor’s ESG commitments.
- Mentor, coach, and evaluate engineering staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and teamwork.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance logs, service reports, and asset inventories using Accor’s digital management system.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Participate in property audits, guest satisfaction surveys, and incident investigations to drive operational excellence.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (D4) in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in a similar engineering leadership role within the hospitality or related industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; good English (spoken and written) is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary technical team.
- Well‑groomed, professional demeanor with a guest‑oriented mindset.
- Proven problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
