Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with sales, project managers, and clients to gather program requirements, budget constraints, and design preferences.
- Develop innovative conceptual designs, space plans, and material palettes that balance form, function, and brand identity.
- Produce detailed construction documents using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D Max, ensuring accuracy for contractors and suppliers.
- Prepare compelling presentation packages—including renderings, mood boards, and specifications—utilizing Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and subcontractors to source furnishings, finishes, and accessories that meet quality and cost targets.
- Monitor on‑site implementation, conduct regular site visits, and resolve design‑related issues to keep the project on schedule.
- Maintain project documentation, update budgets in Microsoft Excel, and produce progress reports for internal stakeholders.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging materials, and sustainable design practices to continually elevate the firm’s design language.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- At least 1 – 3 years of professional experience designing commercial interiors such as offices, retail spaces, or hospitality venues.
- Proficiency with design and drafting software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Adobe Photoshop, and the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong visual communication skills and the ability to translate abstract ideas into clear, actionable drawings.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of listening to client needs, negotiating solutions, and presenting concepts confidently.
- Detail‑oriented with solid project‑management abilities; capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
