We are expanding our collection team and are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as a Desk Collection Officer – Customer Payments. The successful candidate will work from our Yogyakarta office, located at Jl. Prof. Dr. Soepomo Sh No. 30A, Warungboto, and will report directly to the Collection Team Leader. You will be expected to maintain a professional appearance, bring your own writing tools, and adhere to our recruitment policy, which does not require any fees from applicants.
Responsibilities
- Perform outbound phone calls to corporate customers who have missed or delayed installment payments, ensuring a courteous yet firm approach.
- Monitor and update the status of delinquent accounts in the company’s CRM system, flagging high‑risk cases for escalation.
- Apply the established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and contractual repayment terms to negotiate settlement plans.
- Document each interaction accurately, including promises to pay, objections raised, and any agreed‑upon restructuring.
- Prepare and submit daily activity reports to the team leader, highlighting achieved targets, challenges encountered, and suggested process improvements.
- Collaborate with the finance and legal departments when collections require further action, such as legal notices or asset recovery.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering payment‑related inquiries, explaining fee structures, and guiding customers through online payment portals.
- Continuously improve collection techniques by participating in regular training sessions and staying updated on industry best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent (Paket C). Final‑year university students or those enrolled in Universitas Terbuka are also welcome.
- Age range: 18‑35 years.
- All genders are accepted.
- No minimum work experience required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills: friendly, assertive, and proactive in handling difficult conversations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet daily/weekly collection targets.
- Basic computer literacy, especially Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
- Excellent negotiation and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on maintaining customer relationships while achieving recovery goals.
