We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver for Commercial Vehicles to join our logistics team in Bangkalan. Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks or vans in compliance with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards.
- Load, unload, and secure cargo, verifying that the correct items are transported to the designated destinations.
- Plan and follow optimal routes using GPS and local knowledge to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the maintenance department.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and fuel receipts for accounting and audit purposes.
- Collaborate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to resolve scheduling conflicts or delivery discrepancies.
- Adhere to shift schedules, including early morning or late‑evening hours as required by the shift system.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service by representing the company positively during interactions with clients and the public.
- Participate in regular safety briefings and attend training sessions on defensive driving, vehicle maintenance, and emergency procedures.
- Assist in occasional vehicle cleaning and basic upkeep to ensure the fleet remains presentable and operational.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA) or Vocational School (SMK) or equivalent.
- Valid Indonesian driver’s license: SIM A (for cars) and/or SIM B (for motorcycles).
- Residency in Bangkalan is highly preferred to ensure punctuality and local route familiarity.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and adhere to a rotating shift schedule.
- Strong personal integrity: honesty, discipline, and a high sense of responsibility.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to identify minor vehicle issues.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, both verbal and written.
- Physical ability to lift and move cargo safely, adhering to ergonomic guidelines.
