Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver Pengiriman (DW) – Operasional Transportasi to join our dynamic logistics team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that goods are delivered safely, on time, and in perfect condition to our valued customers across the region. The successful candidate will operate company‑owned motor vehicles, adhere to strict safety standards, and represent our brand with integrity and courtesy.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily delivery routes according to the schedule, covering both urban and suburban areas while maintaining punctuality.
- Perform pre‑trip vehicle inspections, checking oil, brakes, tires, and safety equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Load and unload packages, verifying quantities against delivery manifests and reporting any discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, obtain customer signatures, and update the transportation management system in real time.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to resolve issues such as traffic delays, address changes, or special handling requirements.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist in routine vehicle maintenance, such as cleaning, refueling, and minor repairs, and report major mechanical problems to the fleet manager.
- Participate in regular safety trainings and contribute ideas for process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment while also being capable of handling responsibilities independently under pressure.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a delivery driver or in a related transportation role.
- Valid driver’s license for motor vehicles and a clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills; able to interact politely with customers and colleagues.
- High degree of honesty, responsibility, and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and autonomously.
- Demonstrated capacity to perform under tight deadlines and high‑pressure situations.
- Physical stamina to load/unload parcels and operate the vehicle for extended periods.
