Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer – Product Development to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives on turning innovative concepts into reliable, market‑ready products. The successful candidate will work closely with cross‑functional teams, applying mechanical expertise, creative problem‑solving, and strong communication skills to drive product excellence from concept through production.
The position is open to candidates of any gender, with a minimum educational requirement of a high school diploma (SMA/SMK or equivalent). While formal engineering degrees are welcomed, practical experience and a proven track record in mechanical design are essential. The work schedule is Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during critical project phases.
Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and development of new products, from initial concept sketches to detailed 3D CAD models and production‑ready drawings.
- Conduct feasibility studies, perform tolerance analysis, and evaluate material selections to ensure durability, cost‑effectiveness, and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with electrical, industrial design, and manufacturing teams to integrate mechanical components into complete system solutions.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including bill of materials (BOM), assembly instructions, and test procedures.
- Manage prototype fabrication, oversee testing activities, and analyze results to iterate and improve designs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Support supplier selection and qualification, ensuring components meet performance and quality requirements.
- Implement and uphold best practices for design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA).
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in mechanical engineering is a strong plus.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in mechanical product development or a related engineering field.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor) and familiarity with simulation tools such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Strong communication skills – ability to convey technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated honesty, responsibility, and a results‑oriented mindset.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Resilience under pressure; comfortable meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
- Basic understanding of electro‑technical principles is advantageous, given the interdisciplinary nature of product development.
