Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Field Collector to join our dynamic collections team in Denpasar, Indonesia. The successful candidate will be responsible for on‑site debt recovery, building strong relationships with customers, and ensuring that payment targets are consistently met. This role is pivotal in maintaining healthy cash flow for our financial services portfolio while upholding the company’s reputation for professionalism and integrity.
The position offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, and provides ample opportunity for career growth in the collections and credit management field.
Responsibilities
- Conduct face‑to‑face collection activities across assigned geographic zones, visiting residential and commercial customers to negotiate payment arrangements.
- Collect overdue payments in cash, check, or electronic form, ensuring proper documentation and receipt issuance.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily visit reports, including payment status, customer feedback, and any escalations.
- Track and update the company’s collection management system with real‑time information on account status.
- Achieve or exceed weekly and monthly collection targets set by the supervisory team.
- Identify high‑risk accounts and recommend appropriate follow‑up actions to senior management.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while handling difficult conversations and potential conflicts.
- Provide timely feedback to the finance department on trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and ethical standards during collection activities.
- Utilize a personal two‑wheel vehicle and a valid SIM C to travel efficiently within the assigned territory.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in field collections; 2 years preferred.
- Possession of a reliable motorcycle and a valid Indonesian Class C driver’s license.
- Strong knowledge of the local area in Denpasar to optimize route planning and reduce travel time.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and resolve objections.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet strict deadlines.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and customer‑service orientation.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, collection software) and ability to generate accurate reports.
