Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Guru Matematika Kelas Menengah (SMA/SMK) to join our dynamic teaching team in Indonesia. This full‑time position will be based in one of our three vibrant campuses located in Bandung, Medan, or Cirebon. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high‑quality mathematics instruction to senior secondary students, fostering analytical thinking, and preparing learners for national examinations and international curricula such as Cambridge.
The role offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:00, and provides an inspiring environment where educators can grow professionally while making a tangible impact on the next generation of scientists, engineers, and data analysts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum and the Cambridge International curriculum.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, including project‑based learning, technology‑enhanced activities, and real‑world problem solving.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, assignments, mid‑term and final examinations, and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress in the school’s digital management system.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, department heads, and curriculum specialists to ensure consistency and coherence across subjects.
- Participate in regular professional development workshops, faculty meetings, and parent‑teacher conferences.
- Mentor and support students in extracurricular mathematics clubs, competitions, and Olympiads.
- Uphold school policies, safety standards, and promote a positive, inclusive classroom culture.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Mathematics, or a closely related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Graduated from a state or private university with an A accreditation.
- Minimum GPA: 3.00 for a Bachelor’s degree, 3.25 for a Master’s degree.
- At least 1 year of proven teaching experience at the senior secondary level.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English; TOEFL or IELTS certification is preferred.
- Strong familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum and its assessment standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to work in Bandung, Medan, or Cirebon (relocation assistance may be provided).
- Maximum age of 30 years.
- Proficiency in applied mathematics, mathematical analysis, data analysis, statistics, and problem‑solving techniques.
- Demonstrated passion for education and a commitment to continuous professional growth.
