Responsibilities
- Accurately process sales transactions using the POS (Point‑of‑Sale) system, handling cash, credit, and electronic payments.
- Maintain a tidy and organized checkout area, ensuring that all equipment—including cash registers, scanners, and receipt printers—are functional and well‑stocked.
- Verify product prices and promotions, applying discounts according to store policies and preventing pricing errors.
- Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service, answering customer inquiries about products, returns, and store policies.
- Conduct end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, preparing reports and securely depositing cash as required.
- Assist with inventory checks, shelf replenishment, and basic merchandising tasks during quieter periods.
- Collaborate with fellow team members and supervisors to achieve daily sales targets and maintain a high level of store performance.
- Adhere to all company standards regarding hygiene, appearance, and professionalism, including a no‑tattoo and no‑piercing policy while on duty.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age range: 18‑28 years.
- Gender: Female candidates only.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a cashier in a retail or supermarket setting.
- Proficiency with computer applications and POS systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and helpful attitude toward customers.
- Willingness to be stationed in Jombang and travel to nearby store locations if needed.
- Clean appearance – no tattoos or body piercings while on shift.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, with a schedule of Monday to Sunday, 08:15 – 17:00.
