Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and portioning according to standardized recipes.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, mixers, and slicers safely and efficiently.
- Set up and replenish workstations at the beginning of each shift, ensuring all necessary tools, utensils, and supplies are readily available.
- Cook menu items under the supervision of senior chefs, adhering to portion control, plating standards, and food safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels, report low stock, and help with receiving and storing deliveries using the first‑in‑first‑out (FIFO) method.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by performing regular sanitation tasks, including wiping surfaces, cleaning equipment, and disposing of waste properly.
- Support the team during peak service periods, collaborating closely with line cooks, servers, and kitchen managers to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Participate in daily briefings to review menu changes, special dietary requests, and safety protocols.
- Identify and communicate any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management immediately.
- Uphold the highest standards of personal hygiene and professional appearance, wearing the required uniform and name badge at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent (high school diploma or vocational certificate).
- Age: 24 years or younger at the time of application.
