We are seeking a dedicated Koki Profesional to join our bustling restaurant team. This full‑time position offers a dynamic work environment where culinary creativity meets disciplined service. The successful candidate will work Monday through Saturday from 08:00 to 17:00, collaborating closely with chefs, line cooks, and front‑of‑house staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Honesty, discipline, and teamwork are essential traits for thriving in our fast‑paced kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate a variety of menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Assist in daily menu planning, ingredient selection, and portion control to maintain cost efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels, receive deliveries, and conduct proper storage of perishable goods to minimize waste.
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards, including regular cleaning of workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
- Ensure all cooking stations are organized, stocked, and ready for service during each shift.
- Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to coordinate timing of dishes, ensuring timely delivery to guests.
- Participate in staff briefings, provide feedback on menu performance, and suggest improvements for taste, presentation, and efficiency.
- Adhere to health regulations and internal policies, completing required documentation such as temperature logs and waste reports.
- Assist in training new kitchen assistants and junior cooks, sharing best practices and safety procedures.
- Respond promptly to special dietary requests and allergen concerns, ensuring guest satisfaction and safety.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent vocational diploma.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience as a cook in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment.
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
- Fundamental cooking skills, including knife handling, sautéing, grilling, and baking.
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene regulations and ability to enforce them consistently.
- Flexibility to work a fixed schedule of Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
