Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Manajer Penjualan to lead our sales operations in Jakarta Utara. This senior position reports directly to the Head of Sales and plays a pivotal role in expanding our presence within the rapidly growing vape market. The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with retail partners, driving revenue, and ensuring that our brand remains the top choice for consumers and distributors alike.
Responsibilities
- Visit and cultivate relationships with existing vape shops and distributors across Jakarta Utara, identifying opportunities for product placement and upselling.
- Develop a pipeline of new retail partners by prospecting, presenting product portfolios, and negotiating favorable terms.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Set, monitor, and achieve monthly sales targets, using data‑driven insights to adjust strategies and maximize performance.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including forecasts, pipeline status, and market feedback for senior management review.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan in‑store promotions, product launches, and trade‑show participation.
- Conduct competitor analysis to stay ahead of market trends and recommend product or pricing adjustments.
- Coach and mentor junior sales staff, fostering a collaborative and results‑oriented team environment.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations related to the sale and distribution of vaping products.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings, providing updates on progress, challenges, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a strong advantage.
- Experience: At least 5 years of proven sales experience, preferably within the vaping, tobacco, or consumer electronics sectors.
- Gender: Male (as specified by the client’s internal policy).
- Age: Candidates should be within the age range appropriate for the role, with a maximum limit set by the organization.
- Key Skills: Strong sales development abilities, excellent negotiation tactics, and the capacity to build lasting customer relationships.
- Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence, strong communication and presentation skills, analytical mindset, and the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic data analysis tools.
- Availability: Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional travel to client locations.
