Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Merchandiser – Penataan Area Display to join our dynamic retail team on the beautiful island of Bali. Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute the visual layout of product displays across assigned retail outlets, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and seasonal themes.
- Monitor inventory levels on the shop floor and coordinate with the supply chain team to replenish high‑visibility items promptly.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess display effectiveness, capture photographic evidence, and generate detailed audit reports for management.
- Collaborate with store managers, sales associates, and regional planners to align merchandising strategies with sales targets and promotional calendars.
- Train and coach on‑site staff on proper product placement, signage usage, and merchandising best practices.
- Analyze sales data and customer traffic patterns to recommend adjustments that optimize product exposure and conversion rates.
- Maintain an organized stockroom, ensuring that merchandising materials such as fixtures, signage, and promotional assets are stored safely and are readily available.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging retail technologies to continually enhance the visual presentation of the brand.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines, especially during peak seasons and special campaign periods.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor’s degree) in Business, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in retail merchandising, visual display, or sales‑driven product placement.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—in Bahasa Indonesia and preferably basic English.
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and a high degree of personal responsibility.
- Proven ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently, adapting to changing priorities.
- Resilience under pressure, with a track record of meeting deadlines in fast‑paced environments.
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail, colour theory, and spatial design.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (MS Office, Excel) and familiarity with merchandising software or POS systems is a plus.
- Open to working Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional weekend or evening assignments during major promotions.
