We are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Paramedic (female, single, up to 30 years old) to join our shift‑based roster and support our mission of delivering lifesaving care to pets in need.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls and arrive on‑site within the stipulated response time, ensuring the safety of both the animal and the handler.
- Conduct initial assessments, record vital signs, and perform basic emergency procedures such as airway management, hemorrhage control, and splinting.
- Administer prescribed medications, fluids, and analgesics under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian.
- Assist veterinarians during on‑site surgeries, diagnostic imaging, and advanced life‑support interventions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment notes, medication logs, and follow‑up recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing clear explanations of the animal’s condition, treatment options, and post‑emergency care instructions.
- Coordinate with local animal hospitals, shelters, and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless transfer of care when needed.
- Participate in regular training sessions, drills, and continuing education programs to stay current with emerging emergency veterinary techniques.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, infection‑control guidelines, and company policies while working in diverse field environments.
- Contribute to team meetings, share observations, and suggest improvements for operational efficiency and animal welfare.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Veterinary Health (Kesehatan Hewan) from an accredited institution.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in veterinary emergency care; recent graduates with strong clinical rotations are welcome.
- Female candidate, single, aged 30 years or younger.
- Demonstrated honesty, agility, initiative, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proven capacity to perform effectively under pressure and take responsibility for critical decisions.
- Willingness to sign a fixed‑term contract and work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Readiness to be stationed in North Jakarta and travel to various emergency sites as required.
- Basic proficiency with veterinary software, mobile reporting tools, and standard medical equipment.
- Physical stamina to lift animals, carry equipment, and endure long hours on foot or in a vehicle.
