Introduction
The position of Penanggung Jawab Area Bogor (Area Manager – Bogor) is a pivotal role within our logistics network, overseeing all operational activities across the Bogor region. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for warehouse operations, transportation coordination, and customer service in the area, ensuring that goods move efficiently, safely, and on schedule. This role requires a blend of strong leadership, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills to manage both people and processes effectively.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily logistics activities, including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory control, and distribution routing within the Bogor area.
- Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and external vendors to guarantee timely deliveries and optimal load utilization.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery, order accuracy, and freight cost, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing transit times, minimizing damage, and cutting operational expenses.
- Lead a team of logistics coordinators and warehouse operatives, conducting performance reviews, coaching sessions, and conflict resolution as needed.
- Maintain compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies, including the submission of health certificates and other mandatory documentation.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Bogor area and corporate headquarters, communicating operational challenges, market insights, and customer feedback.
- Prepare and manage the area’s budget, forecasting labor, fuel, and equipment costs while ensuring adherence to financial targets.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries or complaints, providing swift resolutions to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Participate in regional planning meetings, contributing strategic ideas that align with the company’s growth objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; high school (SMA/SMK) graduates are also considered if they demonstrate relevant experience.
- Preferably 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in logistics, warehousing, or transportation management.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of managing small to medium‑sized teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make evidence‑based decisions.
- Proficiency with logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Physical fitness and the ability to provide a valid health certificate as proof of fitness for the role.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00–17:00, with occasional overtime during peak seasons.
